Terms of Use – Spy Hunt

By downloading or using Spy Hunt, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Spy Hunt is a local, pass-the-phone social party game for entertainment. Features may include categories/word packs, discussion timers, voting, optional imposter hints, ads (free tier), rewarded unlocks, and Premium access. Features may change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws of your country, or use the app with a parent/guardian’s permission if you are under the age of digital consent where you live. You are responsible for compliance with local laws.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Spy Hunt for personal entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, or exploit the app except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

4. User conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful, harmful, or harassing activity
  • Infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Attempt to disrupt servers, SDKs, or other users’ devices
  • Circumvent payment, Premium locks, ad/reward systems, or security measures
  • Misuse support channels (spam, abuse)

Player names you enter are your group’s responsibility; do not enter others’ personal data without permission.

5. Premium subscriptions (auto-renewable)

Spy Hunt may offer Premium via auto-renewable subscriptions (for example weekly and yearly plans) and/or other in-app purchases.

5.1 Billing

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Prices are shown in the store / paywall and may vary by region.

5.2 Managing & cancelling

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions (or App Store → Account → Subscriptions)
  • Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

5.3 Free trials / promos

If a free trial or promotional period is offered, unused portion may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable, subject to store rules.

5.4 Restores

Use Restore Purchases in the app after reinstalling or switching devices signed into the same store account.

5.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not directly by us.

6. Ads & rewards

The free version may show ads, including rewarded ads that temporarily unlock Premium categories or similar features. Ad experience may depend on your tracking choices and device settings. Premium offers shown in the app describe what is unlocked (e.g. categories, ad-free play).

7. Content & remote updates

Category words, hints, and settings may be updated via remote configuration. We try to keep content appropriate for a general audience but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Offline/bundled content may be used when the network is unavailable. Availability of categories can vary by region/language.

App name, branding, UI, illustrations, word packs, and software are owned by Celepci or licensors. You may not scrape, republish, or commercially reuse App content without permission. Reference to third-party marks (if any) does not imply endorsement.

8. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” FOR ENTERTAINMENT, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR BUG-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $10 if you paid nothing), unless mandatory law says otherwise.

10. Third-party services

The App may rely on Apple, Google, AdMob, Firebase, RevenueCat, and similar services. Their terms and privacy policies govern those services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

12. Termination

We may suspend or stop providing the App or features (including remote content) at any time. You may stop using the App by uninstalling it. Sections that should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The Effective date will be revised accordingly. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. For material subscription changes, store rules also apply.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
