This Privacy Policy explains how Spy Hunt handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Summary
Spy Hunt is a local, pass-the-phone party game. Core gameplay (player names, roles, votes, secret words) stays on your device for that session. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information.
We use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, advertising (when enabled), and in-app purchases.
2. Information we process
2.1 Information stored only on your device
- Player display names you enter for a game session
- Game settings (e.g. timer, imposters, hint toggle, language/region preferences)
- Recently shown words (to reduce repeats)
- Local unlock / premium-related flags needed for gameplay
These items are stored with on-device preferences and are not uploaded by us as a player profile or social graph.
2.2 Information collected automatically (via SDKs)
Depending on platform and OS settings, our app and integrated SDKs may process:

We do not ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, precise GPS, or health data.
2.3 What we do not collect as game content
Spy Hunt does not send your secret word, spy/imposter identity, or vote choices to our servers as gameplay telemetry. Analytics events are high-level (e.g. category selected, game started), not the private role reveal content.
2.4 Online content
The App may download word packs / configuration via Firebase Remote Config or a content URL so categories can be updated without an App Store update.
3. How we use information
- Provide and improve gameplay
- Remember settings and reduce word repeats
- Diagnose crashes and performance issues
- Deliver remote content/config
- Process and restore Premium subscriptions
- Show ads on the free tier and offer rewarded unlocks (when enabled)
- Comply with legal obligations

These providers process data under their own terms. Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
5. Tracking & advertising
- On iOS, we may show an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before purchasing advertising identifiers for personalized ads.
- You can refuse tracking; ads may still be shown in a less personalized form where permitted.
- You can also reset / limit ad personalization in your device settings.
- Free-tier users may see interstitial or rewarded ads; Premium may remove ads depending on the offer shown in the App.
6. Children
Spy Hunt is a general-audience party game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it where applicable.
7. Data retention
- On-device game settings remain until you clear app data or uninstall.
- Analytics, crash, and advertising data are retained by Google according to their retention settings.
- Purchase/entitlement records are retained as needed to provide Premium and meet accounting/legal requirements.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
8. Your choices & rights
- Deny tracking when prompted (iOS ATT)
- Limit ad personalization in device settings
- Uninstall / clear app data to remove local preferences
- Restore / manage subscriptions via Apple ID or Google Play account settings
- Contact us about privacy questions or deletion requests we control (to the extent legally required and technically feasible)
Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR/KVKK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Email contact@web270.com.
9. International transfers
Our service providers (e.g. Google, RevenueCat) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied by those providers.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
